Kansas requires 50 hours of CE per year due on December 31
Kansas allows all of the 50 required hours to be obtained online.
ProCredit hours offered are considered Category I and II type hours.
Category I: At least 20 hours must be in Category I, which includes formal, structured learning activities.
NEW REQUIREMENT:Category III continuing education shall mean an internet or live continuing education activity that meets at least one of the following content requirements:
- Acute or chronic pain management
- The appropriate prescribing of opioids; or
- The use of prescription drug monitoring programs.
