In today's complex and interconnected world, human trafficking remains a pervasive and devastating issue, affecting millions of people globally. Despite advancements in technology and international cooperation, the problem persists, with an estimated 49.6 million individuals trapped in modern slavery worldwide, including 12 million children. The rise of digital platforms has both facilitated the fight against trafficking by providing tools for awareness and reporting, and exacerbated the issue by enabling traffickers to operate more covertly and reach a broader audience.
The goal of this seminar is to educate Chiropractors and health care physicians on the definition, indicators, and prevention strategies of human trafficking, emphasizing a victim-centered approach and satisfy state requirement for Human Trafficking education.
