Texas requires 16 hours of CE per year, due on the first day of the month in which the Chiropractor licensee's birthday occurs
Texas allows 10 hours to be completed via on-demand courses

Chiropractic practice risk management
Included in the 16 required hours must be a minimum of 4 hours of Board-required courses, which include:
- 3 hours relating to the Board's rules, code of ethics and documentation
- 1 hour on Chiropractic practice risk management.
As of September 1, 2020, all Texas licensees are required to complete a Health and Human Services Commission-approved course in human trafficking awareness (see Texas Occupations Code Chapter 116) in order to renew a chiropractic license.
