Alabama requires 18 hours of CE to be completed by September 30th of each year.
Alabama allows up to 6 of the required 18 hours to be done via distance based learning.

New licensees must obtain 4 hours prior to first license renewal and 2 hours per year for each renewal after that.
All clinic owners with a Non Licensed Practice Permit must obtain 2 hours per year in Alabama Law as part of the permit renewal.
